Biography

2013 (Junior):  Brown played in 12 games as a wide receiver in 2013, gathering 33 receptions on the year for a total of 484 yards and two touchdowns.  Brown caught his season-high of five receptions three times during the season against No. 15 Texas (Aug. 31), New Mexico (Oct. 5) and Boston College (Nov. 9).  He had a season-high 91 yards receiving against New Mexico, with a long of 55 yards.  Brown had six games with at least three receptions or more and four games with at least 50 yards receiving.  His first touchdown of the year came against UTEP (Sept. 14) and his second of the year came against Boston College.  Brown recorded three tackles on special teams.
2012 (Sophomore): Brown played in all 12 games at wide receiver for the Aggies in 2012, starting five games.  Brown caught 19 passes for 250 yards and one touchdown on the season.  Brown’s touchdown catch came in the first game of the season against Sacramento State (Aug. 30), where he also set a career-high 59 receiving yards in the game.  In his second start of the season, Brown set a new career-high in receptions in a game with five catches against Idaho (Oct. 6).  Brown would gain over 50 receiving yards on two more occasions on the season.  He caught three passes for 56 yards against UTSA (Sep. 29) and four passes for 54 yards against Texas State (Dec. 1).
2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Brown played in 12 games for NM State in 2011 at wide receiver and on special teams. He caught six passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Brown recorded his first career reception against San Jose State (Sept. 24) for 15 yards. He ended the game with two receptions for 28 yards. In the Aggies’ next game against New Mexico (Oct. 1), Brown recorded a career-high in both receptions and receiving yards. He caught four passes for 51 yards and his first career touchdown with just minutes left in the game as NM State defeated the Lobos for the third straight time, 42-28.
2010 (Freshman): Brown redshirted for the Aggies in 2010.
High School: Brown attended St. John Bosco in Bellflower, Calif.  Brown helped the St. John Bosco Braves to finish third in district in 2009 and 2010.  Brown was named on the second team All-Trinity League.  Brown received an invitation to play in the North and South Orange County All-Star game.
Personal: Brown is the son of Andrea Handy and Glen Brown.  He is majoring in information systems.
