Played two seasons at San Jose State... Played in nine games as a special teams player and a reserve running back... Averaged 1.7 per carry... Had a career-high five carries for 14 yards against Utah State...Was in on a special teams tackle in the win over #16-Fresno State (11/29).

Lettered in football (Coach Pat Degnan) and track and field at Quartz Hill High in Lancaster, Calif. ... Amassed 3,550 yards, averaging 8.2 yards per carry and scoring 53 touchdowns in two years... A 2,001-yard rusher as a senior with an 8.7 per carry average and 29 touchdowns... A two-time All-C.I.F. Southern Section Northern Division honoree... Played linebacker on defense and accumulated 169 tackles and 28.0 tackles for loss in his junior and senior seasons.
