Martha Valdez enters her 23rd year as the administrative assistant for the Aggie football program.

Valdez, who joined the program in 1998, serves as secretary for head coach Jerry Kill, 10 assistant coaches, one video coordinator and four graduate assistants. She also provides office support, including screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing visitors and dealing with administrative inquiries.

Valdez also screens and evaluates incoming and outgoing correspondence and prepares responses as appropriate, schedules and coordinates appointments and/or travel arrangements, and coordinates and oversees daily office activities.  She is also responsible for scheduling and maintaining appointments and meetings for head football coach and coordinates football tickets guest list for home and away football events.

Valdez also assists the recruiting coordinator in all recruiting weekend activities, organizes and facilitates times and venues for recruiting meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, while arranging flight schedules and hotel rooms for recruits and parents. Valdez and her husband, Melecio, have two children, Jackie and Andrew, and a two year-old grandson, AJ.
