2015 (Redshirt Junior)
Played in nine games and started three… Had two receptions for 11 yards with one catch against UTEP (9/19) for eight yards and one against Idaho (10/31) for three yards.

Played wide receiver for Aztec HS in Aztec, N.M… His 23 touchdowns set the state record for most touchdowns in a single season by a wide receiver and most career touchdowns for a receiver… Earned All-State honors twice… Helped his team win the state championship in 2011… Team was runner up twice in his high school career.

Son of Eddie Atencio and Anita Choate… Majoring in criminal justice.
