High School: A four-year letter winner for Cleburne High School and guided the team’s resurgence into relevancy…named District 9-5A MVP as a junior and senior while garnering all-district honors his entire prep career…led the Yellowjackets to back-to-back 20-plus win seasons and University Interscholastic League appearances…guided CHS to its first playoff appearance in eight years his junior season and posted a 24-9 overall record – which earned him Johnson County MVP honors as well…wrapped up his high school career leading the team to a 22-12 overall mark while averaging 24.0 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.3 blocks as a senior…leaves CHS as one of the all-time greats in school history…played on the AAU circuit with the Lone Star Elite...excelled in the classroom, owning the third-highest GPA in his graduating class...member of the National Honor Society as well as the Beta Club.
