Biography

2024-25 (NM State): Christian Cook was a vital piece for the Aggies in the 2024-25 season, playing in all 32 games with 31 starts while leading the team in minutes per game at 31.3. He averaged 12.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per contest while shooting 38.4% from the field, 37% from three-point range, and 76% from the free-throw line. He led the team with 408 total points on the season. Cook was NM State’s top three-point shooter, leading the team with 69 made threes, a mark that ranked seventh in Conference USA. Defensively, he contributed 22 steals, the fourth-most on the team. His consistent play earned him a spot on the CUSA All-Conference Third Team after being named to the CUSA Preseason All-Conference Team. One of his most impressive stretches came during a 13-game run from December 4 to January 25, where he scored in double figures in every game. His standout performance of the season came in a sold-out overtime matchup against rival New Mexico, where he tied his career high with 27 points, shooting 8-13 from the field and 6-9 from beyond the arc while adding five rebounds, three assists, and a block. Cook also earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors on January 6 after averaging 22.0 points per game while shooting 50% from the field in the Aggies’ first two conference matchups. This recognition marked the first time Cook had received the award and the first time an Aggie claimed the honor since NM State joined CUSA. 

2023-24 (NM State): He played in all 32 games making 26 starts for the Crimson and White... led all Aggies last season with 362 total points and the highest points per game average (11.3)... made the most three-pointers on the team (59) and shot 35% from beyond the arc... shot 83% from the free throw line... had four 20+ point outings in his 2023-24 campaign with his highest-scoring night being 27 points in an overtime win against Liberty... scored 26 points while shooting 8-11 from the field and 5-7 from beyond the arc to secure the Aggie’s first division one win of the season against Northern Colorado... was ranked ninth in CUSA in three-pointers made per game with 1.84... averaged the most minutes per game of any Aggies last season (30.38). 

2022-23 (Northeastern State): Appeared in 22 games and made 23 starts while averaging a team-high 16.0 points per game... dished out 2.2 assists, brought in 1.8 rebounds and tallied 1.0 steals per game to help NSU to an appearance in the MIAA Basketball Championships... earned All-MIAA Third Team honors after leading NSU in scoring on 10 different occasions... posted a season-best mark of 28 points in an overtime win over Washburn on Nov. 28... finished the season with seven 20-plus point performances... made a career-high 61 three-pointers to lead the RiverHawks while shooting at a 41.5% clip from beyond the arc... on the season he also posted a 45.4 shooting percentage from the field and an 81.1% success rate from the charity stripe.

2021-22 (Northeastern State): Averaged 14.0 points per game, made 29 starts and appeared in 30 games while averaging a team-high 30.7 minutes per game... produced the most efficient year of his career as he shot 45.5% from the field and 44.1% from three-point land... provided leadership for a RiverHawk team who finished with a winning record for just the second time in eight seasons as they posted a 16-14 overall record and earned an appearance in the MIAA Basketball Championships Quarterfinals... season was highlighted by a career-high 29-point effort against Central Missouri on Jan. 11, 2022, which also marked the only game he was not in the starting lineup... scored in double figures in 23 of the 30 games he checked in to... also averaged 2.1 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 steals per contest.

2020-21 (Northeastern State): Recorded minutes in 21 of the RiverHawks' 22 games and made a pair of starts as a true freshman... averaged 20.2 minutes, 7.7 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 45.2% from the field... scored 13 or more points in each of the RiverHawks' final five contests, including a season-high 23-point outburst in NSU's penultimate game of the season.

High School: Starred fro Midwest City High School and was named the Oklahoma State Offensive 6A Player fo the Year... was also awarded an all-state selection and was named to the Big All-City Boys Basketball First Team by the Oklahoman after averaging 18.0 points per game.
