Keith Roberts enters his first season as special assistant to the head coach after four seasons as a graduate assistant for the New Mexico State men’s basketball program. He has also been around the Aggies program his entire undergraduate career.
Roberts has been a part of two Western Athletic Conference regular-season championships and three-straight tournament championships and three-straight NCAA Tournament appearances since taking on the role of graduate assistant in 2016.
From 2013-2016 he served as a team manager and assisted in the day-to-day operations of the program.
Roberts has been a part of four WAC Tournament Championships (2013-15, 17), the 2015 WAC Championship, and four NCAA Tournament berths.
The Las Cruces, N.M. native graduated from New Mexico State University in the spring of 2016 before entering his role as the graduate assistant in the summer of 2016.
