2012-13 (Redshirt Freshman)

Coleman played in three games in the 2012-13 season. In his first collegiate appearance, Coleman played for eight minutes in the 67-37 win over Northern New Mexico (Nov. 21), and he recorded his first career shot attempt. He also played in the 79-57 win over Louisiana (Nov. 23) and 82-62 win over UTSA (Jan. 3) in Las Cruces.

2011-12 (Freshman)

Coleman redshirted his first season at NM State.

High School

Coleman was a four-year letter winner at Tularosa High School in Tularosa, N.M. As a senior, Coleman led the Wildcats to a 21-5 record and an appearance in the state semifinals. In 2009-10, he directed Tularosa to a state runner-up finish and 21-5 record. In his sophomore season, Coleman helped the Wildcats to a runner-up finish in the district and 19-6 record. As a freshman, Coleman and Tularosa posted a 15-9 record and was fourth in the district.

Personal

Coleman was born in Alamogordo, N.M., and is the son of Emery and Terri Coleman. He is majoring in criminal justice.
