Biography

2017-18: Redshirted.

2016-17 (Lamar CC): Finished his community college career averaging 15.1 points per game…named National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Region IX Player of the Year and First-Team All-Region after posting a team-best 18.3 points per game as a sophomore…guided the Lopes to the Region IX Tournament Semifinals…was second on the team with 6.8 boards per game to go with his .468 shooting clip from the field…recorded 20-plus points in a single-game 16 times this past season with a career-high 31 points against Trinidad State (1/30)…only held to single-digit points in 4-of-32 games he played in…reached the 20-point plateau 16 times…picked up his first double-double of the year against Northwest Kansas Technical College, tallying 20 points and 10 boards before finishing the year with five.
 
2015-16 (Lamar CC): Saw action in 29-of-30 games at Lamar Community College as a true freshman…opened collegiate career with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including a 5-of-8 night beyond the arc…recorded a season-high 25 points four games into the season at Colby (11/7)…netted 23 points two games later against Southwestern College JV…tied his season-high with another 25-point performance against Western Nebraska (1/9), this time draining 7-of-14 shots from deep…recorded his first collegiate double-double at Northeastern (2/6) with 17 points and 11 rebounds…followed up with another double-double against Trinidad State (2/9), netting 22 points and a season-high 16 boards…recorded double-digit points in six of his final seven games.
 
High School: A 2014 graduate of the Philadelphia Military Academy…led the Knights to a second-place finish in the Freelance Basketball League while averaging 20.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in his lone season playing at PMA and earned first-team honors in the process…was also a Markward Club Award recipient his senior season.
 
Personal: Son of Wayne Stewart, Sr. and Hope Clark…has a younger sister, Ashleigh…majoring in accounting.
