Biography

2018-19: Played in 29 games as a senior for the Aggies while starting in six...helped guide NM State to its second-straight regular-season title and third-straight WAC Tournament title as well as its 22nd NCAA Tournament appearance…opened the season with 4 points and 6 rebounds against North Dakota State (11/6)…had a season-high 21 points against CSUN (12/19), knocking 7 threes…tallied 12 points with 5 boards against Grand Canyon (1/10)…posted 10 points against Chicago State (3/2) on the road with 5 rebounds.

2017-18: Helped guide NM State to its 21st NCAA Tournament appearance…led the Aggies to their third WAC regular-season title in four years with 12-2 finish as well as its eighth WAC Tournament title...saw action in all 30 games after sitting out the start of the season with an injury…averaged 5.2 points and 1.7 rebounds off the bench and was also second on the team with 40 made three-balls…scored five points with three rebounds, two assists and two steals in his Aggie debut against Colorado State (11/22)…reached double-figures in scoring at UTEP (11/30) with 10 points and seven rebounds…posted 13 points with four rebounds and two assists on 5-of-6 shooting, including three from downtown, in win over Davidson in the opening round of the 2017 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic…scored a season-high 18 points against Chicago State (3/8) in the quarterfinal round of the WAC Tournament on 6-of-8 shooting from 3-point range…followed up with 12 points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc against Seattle U (3/9) in the semifinals…posted nine points on 3-of-6 shooting from deep in NCAA Tournament game against No. 5-seed Clemson (3/16).

2016-17 (Odessa College): Saw action in 28 games while at Odessa College and averaged 7.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists off the bench…finished his sophomore campaign with a 57.3-percent shooting clip and 45.6-percent from 3-point range…reached double-figures in scoring 11 times…recorded a season-high 29 points at Southern Nazarene (11/10), shooting 10-of-15 from the floor and 5-of-8 from downtown…dropped 22 points versus South Plains (2/9) thanks to five 3-pointers – matching his season-high…scored 10-plus points the following two games before scoring 26 points against Western Texas (3/11) thanks to another hot night beyond the arc.
 
2015-16 (Roxbury College): Finished his first collegiate season averaging 24 points, 6.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game at Roxbury College…recorded double-digit points in 15-of-16 contests he saw action in…scored five points in his collegiate debut at Gateway (11/7)…followed up with an 18-point performance against Rhode Island College (11/10)…rattled off three-straight games with 25-plus points – all on the road…tallied back-to-back 31-point games, knocking down 11 shots in both contests while knocking down 8-of-17 from three between both games…followed up with a 19 point game before scoring 24-plus points in the next four games he played in, including a career-high 44 points against Holyoke (2/9) where he hit 17-of-25 from the field.
 
High School: Spent three years a Milton High School where he was a two-time letter winner his junior and senior year…helped guide Brighton High school to a runner-up finish at the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division II Championship his sophomore year…was also a member of the MHS varsity football team.
 
Personal: Son of Neil Jones and Shawan Vaughn…has two older sisters, Clarissa and Tanara, and a younger sister MaKayla…also has an older brother, Shane, and a younger brother Manny…majoring in individualized studies.
