Biography

2015-16: Played in all 34 games in his second season on the floor for New Mexico State while averaging 5.6 points and 5.3 boards with a .565 shooting percentage…started the first six games of the season, pulling down eight and nine rebounds, respectively, in the first two games of the year…recorded a season-high 15 points and grabbed 10 boards at Utah Valley (1/7) to help the Aggies pick up the 78-66 victory…the double-double against the Wolverines was the first of two that season…tallied 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting with seven boards against UMKC (2/27)…scored 10 points the following game at UT Rio Grande Valley (3/5) and grabbed seven boards as well…recorded his second double-double of the year in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament Championship game against CSU Bakersfield (3/12) with 13 points and 11 rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting.
 
2014-15: Suffered an injury during preseason practice that limited playing time to just 10 games as a redshirt freshman…saw action in his first collegiate game against Chicago State (2/5) on the road…scored his first collegiate point against Seattle U (2/12) at home via a free-throw and also dished out a pair of assists…netted his first bucket the following game against CSU Bakersfield (2/14)…picked up another basket at Grand Canyon (2/21)…tallied a season-high four points against Kansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
2013-14: Redshirted.
 
High School: Starred at Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School in Etokicoke, Canada…led the Crusaders to a 24-2 record as a senior, averaging a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds to go with four blocks and three assists per game…also guided Crusaders to the TOSB Championship and Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations finals…played prep ball at Huntington Prep in Huntington, W.Va., for coach Rob Fulford during 2011-12 season…guided the Irish to a 24-2 mark that year and a No. 43 ranking as a junior…was a three-star recruit coming out of high school according to 247Sports and two-star recruit according to ESPN.
 
Personal: Son of Avtar and Varinder Bhullar…has an older brother, Sim, and older sister, Avneet…played alongside brother, Sim, during the 2013-14 season…brother sim went on to become the first player of Indian descent to play in the NBA and made his pro debut with the Sacramento Kings during the 2014-15 season and spent the 15-16 season with the Raptors 905 of the NBA Development League…majoring in sociology with a minor in marketing.
