Gore played in all 54 games for the Aggies, starting in 52 … With 206 at-bats Gore recorded 59 hits for a batting average of .286 … Gore had 10 doubles, two triples and 12 home runs on the year … Gore recorded the second most 56 RBIs … Gore had a .529 SLG% and an OB% of .373 for an OPS of .902 … Gore only made one error on the year to record a FLG% of .998 … On April 28, Gore had four hits against Jax State for his season high … On April 14, against Middle Tennessee Gore had a two-home run game.
2023 (Junior)
Earned All-WAC Defensive Team Honors, becoming the second player in NM State history to do so … Played in 42 games, making 39 starts, in his first Division I season … Recorded 13 multi-hit contests and seven multi-RBI games … Notched a base hit in 14 of 15 games between Mar. 19 and Apr. 16 … Launched seven home runs, good for fifth on the team, and five doubles in his first season as an Aggie … Slashed .280 / .361 / .462 … Drove in a season-high four runs on Mar. 14 versus OUAZ … On Mar. 14, also launched two home runs for his first multi-homer game as an Aggie … Tied for the team lead with three sacrifice flies … Drew 18 walks on the season, fourth best in the program.
2021 & 2022 (Freshman & Junior at Phoenix College)
Gore played two seasons for Phoenix College before transferring to NM State. Appearing in 82 games, he hit .272 with four home runs, ten doubles, and 52 RBI. As a sophomore, Gore put together a three-hit game with a triple on March 13 at Scottsdale Community College. The three-hit showing capped off a three-game stretch of multi-hit games.
PERSONAL
Hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona, Gore will join the Aggies for the 2023 season. As a transfer from Phoenix College, Gore comes to Las Cruces with 82 collegiate games played. The backstop helped lead Horizon High School to the 2019 Arizona 5A State Championship. He is the son of Steve and Sally Gore and has two sisters.
