2016-17: Named First-Team All-WAC her sophomore campaign…helped guide Aggies to their third-straight WAC regular-season and tournament championship…opened the season with a double-double against San Jose State (11/11) with 18 points and 13 rebounds…dropped a career-high 26 points against Seattle U (1/26) at home…dished out a career-high 7 assists against Grand Canyon (2/12) at home…tied her season-high with three steals eight times last season…averaged 1.5 steals, good for third on the team…led the Aggies with 6.5 RPG… averaged 13.5 PPG, good for a first-place tie for team-high with a .418 shooting clip.
2015-16: Named to the WAC All-Newcomer team her freshman campaign…also named to all-tournament team after scoring 20 points with five rebounds on 9-of-14 shooting against UTRGV (3/12) in the WAC Championship game…earned one WAC player of the week (2/15) honor and two College Sports Madness Player of the Week accolades…helped guide the Aggies to their second-straight WAC regular-season and tournament championship…also helped guide the Aggies to their second-consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament…opened up her collegiate career with 10 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and two assists against North Dakota State (11/13)…followed up with a 13 point performance against Rio Grande Rival New Mexico…dished out a season-high six assists against Seattle U (1/21) at home…recorded a season-high 22 points with eight rebounds on 9-of-13 shooting against Chicago State (2/13)…tied her season high of eight rebounds four times throughout the season…finished her first collegiate season averaging 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds while starting in 30-of-31 contests.
High School: Salas joins NM State after leading El Dorado High School to one of its best runs in school history…led the Hawks to the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section semifinals three-straight years, including a trip to the championship game as a senior…a three-time All-CIF selection and averaged 17.5 points per game, good for third in the county, just under seven boards, four steals and four assists as a senior…was also a three-time all-county player, including first-team honors during her junior and senior campaigns…averaged 19.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.1 steals to go with a blistering 51.8 shooting percentage as a junior.
Personal: Daughter of Greg and Elizabeth Salas…has two older sisters (Lauren and Allyson), two older brothers (Chris and Geoff) and a younger sister (Katie)…majoring in communications.
