Biography
2011-12 - Junior
Rosen played in all 30 games and made 22 starts at the
guard position as a junior. She posted her first career double-double against
Utah State (Jan. 12) with a season high 10 rebounds to go along with 10 points.
She scored a season high of 13 points five days earlier against Boise State
(Jan. 7). She swiped away a career high six steals at UNM (Dec. 4). Rosen
averaged 3.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 22.9 minutes per game. She totaled 104
rebounds to lead the Aggie guards and scored 99 points on the year. She shot
38.8 percent from the field and made 4-of-7 attempts at the foul line.
2010-11 -
Sophomore
Rosen played in 12 games and made six starts at the guard
position as a sophomore before suffering a season-ending near injury against
Utah (Dec. 22). She scored a season high of 12 points against Western New Mexico
(Nov. 11) and pulled down a season high six boards at Michigan (Dec. 13). Rosen
averaged 4.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 22.1 minutes per game. She totaled 29
rebounds and 54 points on the year. She shot 44.9 percent from the field and
made 9-of-10 attempts at the foul line.
2009-10 - Freshman
Rosen earned WAC All-Freshman team honors after initial
campaign. She played in 26 games in Crimson and White during the year and moved
into the starting rotation in the final nine games of the regular season. Rosen
averaged 2.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in 15.2 minutes of playing time.
She led all NM State players who started games by shooting 48.1 percent from
the field. Rosen also totaled a dozen blocks and 19 steals. As a starter over
the last nine games, Rosen's numbers blossomed to 4.1 points and 2.9 board in
22.4 minutes of time on the floor per contest. Rosen boasts a 55.6 percentage
from the floor as a starter and was 4-of-6 from behind the arc. Her best game
came against Utah State on Feb. 23 when she scored a career high of 10 points
while going 4-of-4 from the floor, including her first made 3-pointer at NM
State.
High School
Rosen led the Berkeley Yellowjackets to the California
Division I (big schools) state championship game as a junior. The Contra Costa
Times named her to the all-region second team after she averaged 16.5 points
and nine rebounds in her junior season. Rosen sat out her senior season after
suffering a knee injury. She was also heavily recruited by Pepperdine, San
Francisco, Santa Clara and Cal State Northridge.
Personal
Rosen was born Dec. 28, 1990 in San Francisco,
Calif., and is the daughter of Karen Rosen. She is undecided on a major.
