2009-10 - Junior

Thatcher will sit out the 2009-10 season in accordance with NCAA transfer eligibility regulations.

2008-09 - Sophomore - Weber State

Thatcher played in 11 games early in her sophomore season before missing the latter part of the year with an injury. She scored six points in her time on the court on 3-of-3 shooting and averaged 1.5 rebounds as she averaged 4.6 minutes per game. Thatcher blocked one shot on the year.

2007-08 - Freshman - Weber State

Thatcher was one of just five players to play in all 28 of Weber State's games and she started in 19 of them as a freshman including the first 12 of the season. She finished the year averaging 1.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. Thatcher shot 33 percent from the field and 50 percent at the free-throw line. Her 11 blocked shots were the second most on the team. She had two games on the year where she recorded a season-high seven rebounds and had high of five points in the final game of the season at Idaho State.

High School

Thatcher earned three high school letters in basketball and three in track and field at Las Cruces' Mayfield High School. She was a first team all-district selection as a junior and senior as well as serving as a team captain her last two years. She led the Trojans to the 5A New Mexico State Basketball Championship in 2007 and a runner-up finish the two previous seasons along with Aggie teammate Madison Spence. She was elected for the New Mexico North-South All-Star game and the West Texas vs. New Mexico All-Star game after her senior season. Thatcher averaged eight points and seven rebounds as a senior. She was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal

Emily Thatcher was born July 27, 1989 in Raleigh, N.C. and is the daughter of Barry and Brenda Thatcher. She has three younger siblings, Erin (15), Andrew (12) and Aubrey (8).
