Junior (2013): Brownell was seen in 15 games and started eight games during the 2013 season for the Aggies. During the season, Brownell recorded one shot on goal against WAC opponent Grand Canyon on (10/18). She played a total of 1013 minutes on the year and had four games with 90 or more minutes on the field. Brownell helped the Aggies go into overtime nine times on the season. In the last overtime game, the team went into overtime for two periods for their first overtime win of the season against Bakersfield (11/3). She was named to the Academic All-WAC team.
2012 (Sophomore): In her second season, Brownell played in 17 matches and started in 11 games. She scored her first career goal in the 1-0 overtime win over CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 14). Less than two minutes into overtime, Brownell scored on a header from a corner kick that was the game-winning goal. As a defender, she helped the Aggies to four shutouts in 2012. She also recorded two points, nine shots and five shots on goal. Brownell earned Academic All-WAC honors for her work in the classroom.
2011 (Freshman): Brownell played in two matches as a freshman with the Aggies. She made her collegiate debut at Texas Tech (Aug. 21) and played 10 minutes in the 1-0 loss. Brownell also saw 59 minutes of action in the 7-0 win over Embry-Riddle (Sept. 23).
High School/Club: Brownell joined the Aggies from Escondido, Calif., and San Pasqual High School. As a junior, she helped the Eagles to a third-place finish in the Avocado League. In 2008-09, SPHS reached the semifinals of the California Interscholastic Federation.
Personal: She is the daughter of Keith Brownell and Corrie Amador and was born in San Diego, Calif. Brownell is majoring in biochemistry.
