Allie Jara begins her second season at NM State as the goalkeepers' coach. She most recently served as the graduate assistant at Utah Valley while also training club-level goalkeepers for Utah Arsenal FC. Jara is originally from Yorba Linda, Calif., in Orange County and played club soccer for Slammers FC.

In her first season, Jara helped develop Makenna Gottschalk and Dmitri Fong in an intense position battle at goalkeeper in the 2020 season that was postponed to the spring due to COVID-19. Jara helped Gottschalk earn All-WAC Honorable Mention. Fong also set the career saves record for the program. Overall, the goalkeepers had a .729 saves percentage and 102 total saves.

Jara last played for UVU during the 2019 season when she started 18 of 19 matches played as a graduate transfer. She secured 11 wins, 62 saves and five shutouts as the Wolverines made it to the Western Athletic Conference championship match. The 5-9 keeper also received All-WAC Academic honors for the 2019 campaign.

Prior to her time at UVU, Jara played goalkeeper for three years at University of San Diego.

The Aggies' goalkeeper coach earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from San Diego in 2019 and completed her master's of business administration from UVU in August 2020.
