2012 (Junior): As a junior, Koziol played in 18 matches and started in nine games. She posted two assists in 2012. Koziol fired 14 shots and three shots on goal. Against Idaho State (Aug. 19), Koziol tied a career high with four shots in the match. She was named to the Academic All-WAC team for the second time.
2011 (Sophomore): Koziol played in all 21 matches for the Aggies and started in 18 contests. She scored three goals and all three were game-winning goals, which tied for the team-high in 2011. Additionally, Koziol recorded one assist, 25 shots, 12 shots on goal and .480 shots on goal percentage. In the 2-0 win over Houston Baptist (Aug. 28), Koziol scored her first goal of the season in the 59th minute and recorded an assist on a corner kick for an insurance goal. This was her first career match with both a goal and assist. In back-to-back matches, Koziol scored the only goal in the 1-0 wins versus Tennessee Tech (Sept. 4) and Northern Colorado (Sept. 9). Off the pitch, she was named to the Academic All-WAC team.
2010 (Freshman): In her first season in Las Cruces, Koziol made an impact for the Aggies with appearances in all 18 matches. She started in 12 contests in 2010 with two goals, two assists, 19 shots and eight shots on goal. In only her second collegiate match, Koziol recorded her first-career goal in the 2-1 win over Jacksonville State (Aug. 27). She followed that showing with a pair of assists in the 8-0 victory over Prairie View A&M (Aug. 29). In the Aggies' first WAC win of the season, a 2-1 decision over Fresno State (Oct. 15), Koziol scored for the second time with the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 84th minute.
High School/Club: Koziol joined the Aggies from Wilmington, Del., and Padua Academy. She also played club soccer for FC Delco and guided the squad to the U.S. Club National Championship, Red Bull National League Championship and Region I finals in 2009. At Padua, Koziol helped hold opponents to six goals in 2009 en route to a state championship following a 17-1 record. She was a two-time third team all-state selection as a sophomore and freshman before she earned first team all-state accolades in her junior and senior seasons.
Personal: She is the daughter of John and Maryann Koziol and was born in Newark, Del. Koziol is majoring in communication disorders.
