2012 (Senior): As a senior, Nordin moved from defender to midfielder and she played in all 19 matches and started in 15 games. She scored her first-career goal against I-10 rival UTEP (Sept. 12). Nordin led the Aggies in shots (25), shots on goals (16) and shots on goal percentage (.640) in 2012. She recorded two assists, which tied for the team high. Nordin tallied her first-career assist at UC Riverside (Aug. 31) and her second assist of the season against CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 14). She fired a career-high three shots on goal at Texas Tech (Sept. 23) and followed that performance with a career-high four shots against Utah State (Sept. 28). For the third consecutive season, Nordin earned Academic All-WAC honors.
2011 (Junior): In her junior campaign, Nordin played in 20 matches and started in 17 games. She recorded 1,610 minutes and helped the Aggies to a program-best seven shutouts as a member of the back row. Nordin had eight shots, four shots on goal and .500 shots on goal percentage. She was named to the Academic All-WAC team for the second straight season. In addition, Nordin earned second team CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District Seven honors, which was the first all-district award for the Aggies in program history.
2010 (Sophomore): Nordin started and played in 17 matches for the Aggies as a sophomore. As a mainstay in the back row, she was a part of three shutouts in 2010. Additionally, Nordin was an Academic All-WAC honoree.
2009 (Freshman): As a freshman, Nordin started in all 19 matches. Along with defender Courtney Irwin, the duo played every minute of the 2009 season, 1,809. Nordin helped NM State post four shutouts including three in WAC play. She recorded four shots and three shots on goal in her first year with the Aggies. She earned Academic All-WAC Freshman/Transfer team honors.
High School/Club: Nordin was a defender from Huntington Beach High School in Huntington Beach, Calif., where she earned four soccer letters. Nordin was a Sea View All-League selection and Huntington Beach HS Defensive Player of the Year as a senior and sophomore. In her senior season, Nordin guided the Oilers to the California Interscholastic Federation tournament. As a freshman, she was an All-Sunset League honoree and team most valuable player. Additionally, Nordin is a member of the West Coast Futbol Club Squad and has paced the team to a Cal South Finalist showing at the National Cup in 2006 and 2007. She also led the team to a 2006 CSL League Cup Championship.
Personal: Born in Long Beach, Calif., Nordin is the daughter of Richard and Pamela Nordin. She is majoring in nursing.
