Biography

2013 (Junior):  Cambra played in 19 games for the Aggies in 2013 and scored four goals on the year. She had 18 shots on goal with a total of 31 shots. She had a career-high two goals in the 2-2 tie with Utah Valley that stretched into double overtime. She had five shots in that game with three on goal. Just two days before, Cambra scored the Aggies lone goal in the overtime loss to Bakersfield but managed four shots against the Runners. She averaged 1.63 shots a game while making 11 starts. Cambra was named to the All-WAC second team.

2012 (Sophomore): In her sophomore season, Cambra played in all 19 games and started in 15 contest. She recorded 21 shots and 10 shots on goal, and both marks ranked third on the team in 2012. In the 1-0 win over Southern Utah (Sept. 2), Cambra tied a career high with four shots. She posted a season-high two shots on goal in three games; UC Riverside (Aug. 31), Southern Utah and Louisiana Tech (Oct. 7).

2011 (Freshman): As a freshman, Cambra played in all 21 matches for the Aggies and started in four contests. She had four goals, one assist, 28 shots, 19 shots on goal and .679 shots on goal percentage in 2011. In her first collegiate start, Cambra scored her first career goal in the 4-0 win over Prairie View A&M (Aug. 26). She posted her first career assist in the 2-1 win over Jacksonville State (Sept. 2). In her second start of the season, Cambra had a pair of goals including the game-winning goal in the 3-0 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock (Sept. 11). She is only one of three Aggies this season with multiple goals in a match. Cambra scored her final goal of the year in the 2-1 win over Hawai’i (Nov. 3) to help NM State earn its first WAC Tournament victory in school history.

High School/Club: Cambra arrived in Las Cruces from Morgan Hill, Calif., and Sobrato High School. She scored 24 goals as a senior and captured the Santa Teresa League scoring title. Cambra was also the senior of the year for the league. She led the Bulldog offense with 25 goals as a junior and 19 goals as a freshman. Cambra earned first team All-Mt. Hamilton Division honors, most valuable player accolades and the league scoring championship.

Personal: She is the daughter of William and Maria Cambra and was born in Mountain View, Calif. Cambra is majoring in business.
