2012 (Junior): As a junior, Schutter played in 11 matches and started in nine games. She led the team with a 1.58 goals against average. Schutter played 856:31 minutes in goal for the Aggies and recorded 34 saves and .694 save percentage while only allowing 15 goals. She posted one shutout in 2012 with a 1-0 win over CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 14). In seven of her 11 appearances, Schutter only allowed one goal or less. She grabbed a career-high seven saves in back-to-back showings against UC Riverside (Aug. 31) and Sam Houston State (Sept. 7). For her success in the classroom, Schutter earned Academic All-WAC honors.
2011 (Redshirt Sophomore): Schutter returned from an injury in 2011 to start in seven matches. She grabbed 21 saves and posted 1.23 goals against average and .724 save percentage. Schutter recorded two shutouts and combined for one with Erin Wosick in the 7-0 win over Embry-Riddle (Sept. 23). In her first career start, Schutter directed the Aggie defense to a 3-0 win over Arkansas-Little Rock (Sept. 11). She also had a shutout in the 1-0 win over Hawai'i (Oct. 28) that helped the Aggies qualify for the WAC Tournament. Schutter finished the season with a 4-3 record including NM State's first-ever postseason win with a 2-1 decision over Hawai'i (Nov. 3) in the first round of the conference tournament.
2010 (Sophomore): Schutter missed the 2010 season due to an injury.
2009 (Freshman): In her freshman season, Schutter appeared in two matches. She posted three saves in 45 minutes of action and helped the Aggies to their first shutout with a 3-0 win over Texas-Permian Basin (Sept. 16). The victory was also NM State's first win in Aggie Memorial Stadium. Schutter also played in a WAC match, the regular season finale at Utah State (Nov. 1).
High School/Club: Schutter was a goalkeeper from John F. Kennedy High School in La Palma, Calif., where she earned four soccer letters. Schutter directed the Irish to three consecutive second-place Empire Leagues finishes. During her freshman and sophomore seasons, Schutter guided Kennedy to an overall record of 16-2-2, but was sidelined her junior season due to injury. In 2009, Schutter led the Irish to a 10-5-2 record and a 2-1 league record. Additionally, she earned second team All-California Interscholastic Federation honors.
Personal: Schutter was born in Anaheim, Calif., and is the daughter of Ray Schutter. She is majoring in fashion merchandising.
