New Mexico State University Athletics

2012 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Tupponce made an appearance in 12 matches. She started in one contest at in-state rival New Mexico (Sept. 16). Tupponce earned second team CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District Seven honors and Academic All-WAC accolades.

2011 (Freshman): In her freshman season, Tupponce played in 20 matches and started in 16 games. She scored two goals with 17 shots, eight shots on goal and .471 shots on goal percentage in 2011. Tupponce recorded her first career score in the 4-0 win over Prairie View A&M (Aug. 26) in the Aggies' home opener. She scored in the 2-1 loss in double overtime at San Jose State (Oct. 21). She earned Academic All-WAC Freshman/Transfer team honors.

High School/Club: Tupponce arrived in Las Cruces from Phoenix, Ariz., and Desert Vista High School. She led the Thunder to the state semifinals in 2010 and an 18-6-1 record. In 2009, Tupponce guided Desert Vista to the state finals and 18-5-2 record. With her club team, the Arizona Sting, Tupponce led the squad to the 2010 Far West Regional Championship.

Personal: She is the daughter of Alan and Hester Tupponce and was born in San Diego, Calif. Tupponce is pursuing an education degree.
