Biography

2009 (Sophomore): Heiman redshirted in 2009.

 

Prior to NM State: Heiman was the goalkeeper at Pima Community College in Tucson, Ariz., in 2008. She led the Aztecs to a 14-5-1 record and third-place finish in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC). She posted a 1.010 goals against average, which ranked No. 25 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I. Heiman was a two-time conference keeper of the week, and she played in the league’s all-star match. Additionally, she was selection as the NJCAA Player of the Week.

 

High School/Club: She graduated from The Colony High School in The Colony, Texas, in 2007. Heiman earned a letter in both soccer and volleyball with the Cougars. In addition, she spent two years playing club volleyball as a middle blocker.

 

Personal: Heiman was born in Grapevine, Texas and is the daughter of David Heiman and Karen Brennan. Her younger sister, Kelly, is a midfielder at NM State. Heiman is pursuing a degree in psychology.
