2010 (Junior): Moya missed the 2010 season due to an injury.
2009 (Sophomore): In her sophomore campaign, Moya played in 11 matches with 10 starts before she was sidelined with an injury. She scored a goal in her abbreviated season with five shots and three shots on goal. Moya’s first career goal in the Crimson and White was on a free kick at Lamar (Sept. 25), and the Aggies won the match, 2-1. Additionally, Moya was honored with the inaugural Matt Stauffer Coaches Award, which head coach Michael Needham created as a tribute to a friend. She was also an Academic All-WAC selection.
Prior to NM State: Moya, a midfielder from Albuquerque, N.M., transferred to NM State after spending the 2007 season at Navy. She played in seven matches with two shots. Moya and the Midshipmen won the Patriot League Tournament in 2007 to earn a berth to the NCAA Tournament.
High School/Club: In 2007, Moya graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, N.M. A four-year letterwinner, she paced the Matadors to four state tournaments, 2003 and 2005-07. Moya was a first team all-district and honorable mention all-state midfielder. She also won the Sandia Heart and Hustle award. Moya played club soccer for the Albuquerque United and won six New Mexico state titles with the team. Moya and the club were two-time Region IV (Far West) Finalist. Additionally, she was a four-year member of the New Mexico State Olympic Development Team.
Personal: Moya is the daughter of Jaime and Elizabeth Moya and was born in Albuquerque, N.M. She is majoring in biochemistry.
