2012 (Junior): As a junior, Giles played in four matches and started one game despite being sidelined with an injury for most of the season. In her lone start of the season, the Aggies shutout CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 14) for a 1-0 overtime win. Giles recorded two shots and her first-career shot on goal against Denver (Oct. 12).

2011 (Sophomore): Giles played in 16 contests for the Aggies and started in two matches. She recorded her first career assist in the 2-2 double overtime draw at Fresno State (Oct. 23). In 2011, she helped the Aggie defense to a program-record seven shutouts. Giles also had three shots.

2010 (Freshman): Giles played in two games in her first season in the Crimson and White. She first appeared in the 8-0 win over Prairie View A&M (Aug. 29). Giles earned her first career start in the 8-0 victory over Alabama A&M (Sept. 17).

High School/Club: As a defender at Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, N.M., Giles led the Eagles to a state and district championship in 2009. As a junior, she was a first team all-state selection and district player of the year honoree. Giles guided the Eagles to a state runner-up finish and district title in 2008. She also directed Eldorado to a district championship as a sophomore in 2007.

Personal: Giles is the daughter of Kendal Giles and Francesca Chavez-Giles and was born in Albuquerque, N.M. She is majoring in kinesiology.
