2014 (Sophomore): Hammack played in nine matches as a sophomore, starting as the net minder in the Aggies’ first seven matches before being hampered by injury. She played a total of 759 minutes, finishing the season with 44 saves and a .603 save percentage while finishing with a 1-7 record. She had a career-high 10 saves versus UNLV on Sep. 21. At the end of the season she was placed on the Academic All-WAC list.
2013 (Freshman): Hammack played in three matches during her freshman campaign as an Aggie and started in one. Her best game came against Utah Valley (11/1), when she started the match and totaled 107 minutes played. During the match, she had eight saves bringing her save percentage to .643 on the season. Tayler had one other save against Portland State (9/1) early on in the season.
High School: Hammack, a goalkeeper from Socorro, N.M., earned five letters and started playing high school soccer in the eighth grade. In both her junior and senior seasons at Socorro High School, she led the Lady Warriors to two district championships. Hammack earned first team all-district honors and second team all-state honors in 2011 and 2012. She spent three years at Portales High School from 2009-11 and anchored the Lady Rams to two district runner-up finishes in 2009 and 2010 and a third-place showing in 2008. In her freshman and sophomore campaigns, Hammack was a first team all-district and honorable mention all-state selection. She was also a second team all-district and honorable mention all-state honoree as an eighth grader. In club soccer, Hammack and Rio won the state cup in 2013.
Personal: Born in Tucumcari, N.M., Hammack is the daughter of Chris and Katie Hammack. She is majoring in hotel, restaurant and tourism management.
