Biography

2009 (Freshman): Reyes played in five matches in 2009. She had one shot on goal against Idaho State (Aug. 23) in the home opener.

 

High School/Club: Reyes was a midfielder from Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas, Nev., where she earned four soccer letters. Reyes led the Panthers to back-to-back state championships and Sunset League Championships her freshman and sophomore seasons. As a senior, she was a Class 4A, All-Southern Nevada, All-Sunset Region and All-Northwest League honoree. Reyes also was awarded the Palo Verde Most Valuable Forward and MVP. She has recorded a career record of 53-7 during the first three seasons of high school. Taylor had a standout senior campaign with 15 goals and six assists. She has also recorded player of the week honors from the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Reyes was a member of the four-time state champions with the Tabagators '91. She led the team to U.S. Club Soccer Regional title in 2005 en route to a national finalist showing. In 2004, Reyes directed the squad to the U.S. Club Soccer Regional title in 2004. Additionally, the club was the Las Vegas Showcase Champions.

 

Personal: Reyes is the daughter of Michael and Doreen Reyes, and she was born Chicago, Ill. She hasn’t decided on a major.
