2010 (Sophomore): In her sophomore season, Subu made 16 appearances for the Aggies and started in five matches. She scored two goals, recorded one assist along with 11 shots and six shots on goal in 2010. In the 8-0 win over Alabama A&M, Subu scored her first goal of the season on a season-high four shots and two shots on goal. She then followed that performance with a goal and her first-career assist in her first start of the season in the 4-0 win over Lamar (Sept. 19). Additionally, Subu was an Academic All-WAC team honoree.
2009 (Freshman): Subu played in 17 matches with four matches started as a freshman. She scored her first career goal in her first career start, which was a game-winning goal, against Texas-Permian Basin, 3-0, (Sept. 16). The win was the first home victory in program history. Subu recorded four shots and three shots on goal in 2009.
High School/Club: Subu was a midfielder/forward from Coronado High School in Henderson, Nev., where she earned four letters. Subu led the Cougars to an overall career record of 54-11-2. As a senior, she guided Coronado to the state championship match. Subu was named the Southern Nevada and Coronado most valuable player. During her junior season, she scored a team-high 22 goals and added 23 assists while she paced Coronado to the state quarterfinals. Additionally, Subu was named to the All-Southern Nevada, all-district and all-conference teams and she was award with the team’s most valuable offensive player honor. As a sophomore, Subu scored 15 goals and supplied 19 assists as the team made an appearance in the state quarterfinals. During her freshman season, Subu tallied 12 goals and 12 assists while leading the Cougars to the state semifinals.
Personal: Born in Detroit, Mich., Subu is the daughter of Vidu and Julieta Subu. She is majoring in dental health.
