New Mexico State University Athletics

2010 (FRESHMAN): Pajares saw action in 22 sets (15 matches) for NM State as a freshman and finished the season with eight kills, three digs and one block assist.  She tallied here first two collegiate kills against Texas State (9/17) in the Arizona Wildcat Tournament and picked up her first two kills in WAC play against Louisiana Tech (9/23) in Ruston, La.  Parajes also had two kills against Idaho (10/16) in the Pan American Center.

HIGH SCHOOL: Pajares played four years of volleyball at Coppell High School in Coppell, Texas, leading her team to three district championships and one area championship.  She was named a 2009 American Volleyball Coaches Association "Player to Watch" and was one of the 2009-10 Prep Volleyball "Senior Aces 150."  The captain of her team in 2009, Pajares earned 2009 All-Texas Team Special Recognition and was named a Dallas Morning News Player of the Week. She was also named 2009 offensive most valuable player and was selected for first team all-district.  She was the 2008 offensive most valuable player while earning first team all-district honors after leading her team to a bi-district championship and a co-district championship. She was a part of 2008 Duncanville (Texas) All-Tournament team and earned 2008 Prep Volleyball All-Texas Team Special Recognition.  A 2008 and 2009 academic all-district honoree, Pajares also earned Prep Volleyball High Honors.  Her play in 2007 helped her team win a district championship as she was named an all-district honorable mention honoree that season.  Pajares played for Texas Advantage Volleyball's (TAV) top team winning three open qualifiers and finishing in fifth place at JO's Open Division in 2007.

PERSONAL: Pajares is the daughter of Luis and Michelle Pajares. She was born in Dallas, Texas, and is majoring in marketing and economics.
