Biography

2010 (FRESHMAN):  Coppedge saw action in five sets for the Aggies in 2010 and tallied one dig. The Las Cruces native will be competing for more playing time in 2011 as one of only four defensive specialists on the team.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Coppedge earned four volleyball letters under coach Keith Leupold and led Las Cruces High School to four consecutive district titles.  She also helped the Bulldogs to a state runner-up finish in 2006.  Coppedge was the team most valuable player in 2008 and was a first-team all-state selection that same year.  She also played in the 2008 New Mexico North-South All-Star game.  She was a 2007 all-state honorable mention honoree and was named the most improved player in 2006.

PERSONAL: Coppedge was born in Las Cruces, N.M., and is the daughter of Gary and Annabell Coppedge.  She is majoring in kinesiology.
