JUNIOR (2012): Loerch quickly became an integral part of NM State’s WAC championship team during her first season with the Aggies. She was one of only four Aggies that participated in every set (124) during the 2012 season. Loerch’s 316 total kills and 2.55 kills/set average were both good for second-best on the NM State team. She was also third-best on the Aggie squad in total points (358) and points/set (2.89) while finishing in a tie for third in total blocks (65).
Loerch finished with double-digit kills in 15 matches in 2012, including a personal season-high 19 kills versus Pepperdine (Sep. 08).
For her efforts, Loerch was honored as a second team All-WAC selection after her first year in the conference.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Loerch played her second year for the Cal-Berkeley Golden Bears during the 2011 season. As a sophomore Loerch played a total of 34 sets in 14 matches helping the Golden Bears to a 26-7 record. She started in seven of those matches and finished the season with 60 digs, 12 kills and five service aces, including a couple of matches in which she had two service aces.
FRESHMAN (2010): Loerch began her college-playing career in the spring of 2010, etching her name into the record books as the first ever spring admit for volleyball. As a freshman Loerch played in a total of 20 sets in 11 matches. Although having limited playing time, Loerch still had an impressive 29 kills and 11 blocks on the season. In her very first match as a Golden Bear, she had a season-high eight points and a season-high three blocks. She also had six kills in a match on three different occasions. Loerch was part of the Golden Bear team that went 30-3 in 2010 and made it all the way to the 2010 NCAA National Championship match before losing to Penn State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Loerch played four years of high school volleyball at Georgetown High School located in Georgetown, Texas. She graduated in 2009. Loerch received Academic All-District honors in 2007 in both volleyball and soccer, an honor she also received in 2008 and 2009 for volleyball. In 2009, Loerch also received Academic All-State honors. After the 2008 season Loerch received all-district second-team honors, and numerous all-tournament team honors. Her last year in high school, however, was by far her most productive. During the 2009 season Loerch was the senior captain on a team that reached the state semi-finals and was named the team's offensive most valuable player and also the team MVP at the conclusion of the season. She finished the season with 383 kills, 60 service aces, 59 total blocks, 343 digs and eight assists. Loerch was named first-team all-district, selected to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Team, Texas Sports Writers Association All-State second team and All-Central Texas first team. She was also a Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection and was the Prep Volleyball No. 23 Senior Ace. Loerch also played varsity soccer as a freshman and earned defensive MVP honors as well as being named to various all-tournament teams.
PERSONAL: Loerch was born on Dec. 12, 1991 in Houston, Texas, and is the daughter of Michael and Melissa Loerch. She is currently a BIS major with an emphasis in public health. Loerch enjoys hanging out with her family and is an avid photographer. She also hopes to be a certified trainer in the spring of 2014. Loerch is the cousin of three-time All-Sun Belt Conference player and former Aggie volleyball standout Stevi Adams.
