Biography

2024-25 (Junior): Played in 33 games for the Aggies, recording 430 total minutes… finished second on the team in blocked shots (6), while finishing fourth among Aggies in field goals made (76), rebounds (83) and fifth in steals (32)... tallied 13 points and three rebounds against Santa Clara (11/30)... posted six points, five rebounds and two steals in a road contest against nationally ranked Kansas State (12/18)... erupted for 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals against Western Kentucky (3/1)... recorded a season-best 18 points, along with five rebounds, three assists and two steals against LA Tech (3/6)... notched seven points and a trio of steals against Pacific (3/20) to help the Aggies advance in the WNIT.
 
2023-24 (Sophomore): Saw action in 18 games, totaling 181 minutes... posted a career day from the floor, posting a career-high 20 points, wihle chipping in two rebounds and two steals against I-25 rival New Mexico (12/2)... recorded 13 points and nine rebounds in a home matchup with Western New Mexico (12/12).
 
2022-23 (Freshman): Appeared in nine games, averaging 4.9 points and 1.4 rebounds before her season was cut short due to injury... Scored a career-high 19 points against Northern New Mexico (12/20) in just 16 minutes of floor time.
 
High School: Two-time U18 Champion of Madrid – helping lead Baloncesto Torrelodones to back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022... also served as a vital piece in leading her team to an appearance in the Spanish National Tournament in 2021 and a runner-up finish in Madrid in 2018-19... key cog in a run to the Zaragosa Tournament title... averaged 16.0 points on an incredible 87.1 percent from the field while also shooting 70 percent from the free-throw line and 33 percent from beyond the arc in 2021... brought in 6.3 rebounds in her final season with Baloncesto Torrelodones... in addition to playing basketball, Yenes also competed participated in tennis and swimming and diving... daughter of Jose Ignacio Yenes and Maria Dolores Gutierrez... also has two siblings – Diego (15) and Isabel (13)... majoring in mathematics.
