2011 (SENIOR):
Hardy did not play in 2011 and received a redshirt.
2010 (JUNIOR): Hardy played in 68 sets for NM State
after transferring from Hawai'i-Pacific. She tallied 65 assists, which
was second most on the team, two kills and nine service aces, while also
posting 43 digs on the defensive side of the net. She picked up her first
assist as an Aggie at LSU (9/11) on an afternoon when NM State fell in five
sets. That day she finished with two assists and six digs. Stepping
in as the starting setter in the WAC opener against Louisiana Tech (9/23),
Hardy posted a career-high 38 assists while NM State swept the Lady
Techsters. Her only other double-digit assist match came at nationally
ranked Hawai'i (10/31) when she marked 10 on the night. Hardy finished
the year with a season-high seven digs against Utah State (11/23) in the WAC
Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.
2009 (SOPHOMORE): After transferring to
Hawaii-Pacific, Hardy racked up 42 kills, 104 digs and 11 blocks, leading the
Sea Warriors to a 14-11 record for the season. In a match against
Humboldt State, Hardy had 47 assists, ranking her third in overall assists for
2009.
2008 (FRESHMAN): Hardy made a huge impact her
freshman year at Iowa Western. With 288 digs, 75 kills and 1,428 assists,
she helped lead the team to a 53-3 record. She was named J.O.
All-American at the end of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hardy, a setter, helped lead the Galena
Grizzlies to a state championship in 2006 with a 30-8 record for the
season. After transferring to El Dorado High School, she assisted the
team to back-to-back league championships in 2007 and 2008. Hardy was also named an All-American at the
Junior Olympic tournament in 2008.
PERSONAL: Madison Victoria Hardy is the daughter of
Sharon and Michael Hardy. She is working towards a degree in
individualized studies.
