Biography

HIGH SCHOOL:  Giacomazzi came to NM State after playing four years of volleyball at Hereford High School in Hereford, Texas.  As a setter and a libero, Giacomazzi led her team to a state championship in 2008, the regional finals in 2009 and a state runner-up finish in 2006.  She made the state all-tournament team in 2008 and 2009 while she tallied 1,111 assists and 39 service aces in 2009.  Giacomazzi led her team to a High Performance Championship in 2006 and a third-place finish in the High Performance Tournament in 2009.

PERSONAL: Giacomazzi was born in Amarillo, Texas, and is the daughter of Jim and Trisha Giacomazzi.  She is majoring in secondary education.
