LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State women's basketball team is set to host the University of Arizona Wildcats on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 1:00 p.m. MT. The Aggies remain unbeaten at home (4-0) and have won their last three regular season games coming into the match-up with the Wildcats.
Sunday's game will feature a white out in which fans are encouraged to don their white gear. Fans watching the game and listening in will catch Adam Young on the play-by-play and Patrick Knapp as the color analyst.

TAKING A LOOK AT THE WILDCATS
The University of Arizona Wildcats enter the game sitting at 4-1 on the year, coming off a 77-67 victory over Florida Atlantic on Thursday. Their team is led by senior forward LaBrittney Jones who has averaged 17.0 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.
The Wildcats team features two more players averaging double digit points with Malen Washington (12.0) and Taryn Griffey (10.6).
As a team, the opposition has averaged 73.4 points, 39.8 rebounds and 15.4 assists over their first five games. The Wildcats only loss of the season came against North Texas at home as they fell, 62-58, on Nov. 22.
Arizona comes to the Pan American Center holding a 13-11 all-time series lead over NM State as the last contest saw the Aggies fall, 68-64, in Tucson, Ariz. on Dec. 2, 2015.
HOMETOWN CONNECTION
The match-up with Arizona will feature two former high school teammates squaring off. NM State senior guard Tamera William and Arizona forward Breanna Workmam hail from Las Vegas, Nev. and four years ago were both student-athletes at Centennial High School where they competed together. Centennial HS is also home to the Aggies new recruit coming in 2017-18, guard Pam Wilmore.
TOP IN THE NATION
Junior guard Zaire Williams has continued to stay atop the list of the nation's leaders in assists. Williams is ranked seventh in the NCAA with 49 assists (7.0 per game), through seven games.
The Dana Point, Calif. native had 10 assists against New Mexico and quickly followed that up with a season-high, 12, against Sacramento State in the Bank of Hawaii Classic. The latest game saw Williams lead the team with nine assists against Battle of I-25 rival, New Mexico, helping her name climb the list of the nation's leaders.
AFTER THE GAME
The match-up on Sunday against Arizona will wrap up a four game home-stand for the Aggies. The team will then take a week off before they hit the road to face off against Northern Arizona on Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. in Flagstaff, Ariz.
