Aggies Announce First Signings of Amadou Era

NM State unveils the first 12 student-athletes of its 2026-27 roster.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State Head Coach Adeinyi Amadou and his coaching staff have been hard at work, preparing his inaugural roster as the 13th NM State Head Women's Basketball Coach. Today, NM State announces the signing of 11 players, in addition to the retention of Emma Chrstiano, the lone returner from the 2025-26 squad.
 
Alongside the Las Cruces native, the Aggies will add five freshmen to the roster. NM State also sees six student-athletes transferring in from other Division I programs, including Texas A&M, South Florida, Seattle U and Rhode Island. In total, the Aggies add seven guards and six post players.
