LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team is set to wrap up the regular-season this weekend with a pair of matches. Up first for the Aggies will be Battle of I-10 rival UTEP on Friday, April 14, at the El Paso Tennis and Swim Club before entertaining UT Permian Basin at 10 a.m. on Sunday alongside the men.

The Aggie women head into this weekend's contests 8-12 overall on the year after concluding conference play 3-2. Freshman
Rebecca Keijzerwaard was recently named the WAC's Player of the Week this past Tuesday after going 3-0 in single sand doubles play.

Heading into Friday's match-up, the Miners are 4-12 overall and 0-1 in Conference USA action. Vivienne Kulicke leads all players with a 17-7 record in singles play while Raven Benette checks in with a 15-9 mark. Milou Pietersz and Daphne Visscher round out the list of double-digit winners with 11 and 10 wins, respectively.

Kulicke and Pietersz are a win shy of reaching the 20-win plateau with a 19-6 record in doubles action – nine of which have come at the top slot in dual play. The No. 3 doubles pair of Bennett and Visscher are 13-12 on the year while every other team checks in with less than five wins.

The Aggies then return home for their final home regular-season contest before hosting the Western Athletic Conference Championships (April 28-30). NM State will be hosting both the men's and women's team for UT Permian Basin on Sunday with both squads set to begin at 10 a.m. (MT). UTPB enters the match on Sunday with a 6-10 overall record and 1-1 mark in Lone Star Conference action.
