The Aggies continue Western Athletic Conference play as they visit Grand Canyon on Friday, Oct. 19, at 8 p.m. (MT) before heading to the Golden State to take on CSU Bakersfield on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m.

Galicia leads the team in points (8) and goals (4) with Martinez second in both (3g, 6p) while
Emma Smith (1g, 3a) is third in points with 5. Freshman
Alexa Barrera leads the team with four assists.

A Look at the Lopes
Grand Canyon currently holds a 5-12 overall record with a 2-3 mark in the WAC. GCU holds an all-time 4-2 advantage over the Aggies. Last season in Las Cruces, NM State defeated the Lopes 2-1 in double overtime thanks to two goals from
Devin Hart, including the game-winner in the 102
nd minute.

Offensively, Grand Canyon is led by senior McKenzie Cook with five goals and two assists for twelve points. Sophomore Camryn Larson is second on the team with nine points (4g, 1a) while Sarah Inafuku is third with three goals and one assist for seven points.

Redshirt senior Abby Burton has played every minute in goal for the Lopes this season while racking up 80 saves, good for second in the conference. Burton holds a 1.49 goals-against average and a .755 save percent.

Scouting the Roadrunners
CSU Bakersfield is 4-10 overall with a 1-4 record in conference play. The Aggies have a 3-5-1 record all-time against the Roadrunners including a 2-2 draw last season at the Soccer Athletic Complex.
Aileen Galicia scored goals in the 82
nd and 88
th minutes to erase a 2-0 deficit and force overtime.

Aminah Settles leads the Bakersfield attack with five goals and three assists for 13 points. Settles currently sits at seventh all-time in the Roadrunner record book with 16 goals. Aryana Harvey is second on the squad in points (7) and goals (3).

Junior Jordan Bertram has seen the majority of time in goal for the Roadrunners this season, starting in 11 games while redshirt sophomore Cass Tymchen started the last three games and freshman Lucy Gomez has made two appearances. Bertram leads CSU Bakersfield with 69 saves, a .775 save percent and a 1.80 goals-against average.

Weekend in Review
Last weekend, Seattle U and Chicago State visited the City of Crosses for Western Athletic Conference play.

On Oct. 12, Seattle U visited on an unusually rainy day in Las Cruces. The Redhawks received goals from Jessie Ray, Rachel Bowler and two from Kelsey Vogel on their way to a 4-0 victory.

Then, Chicago State came to town on Sunday, Oct. 14.
Audriana Chavez scored off a rebound in the 27
th minute before heading in a cross from
Emma Smith in the 30
th minute to take a two goal lead into the half. Chicago State would pull a goal back thanks to a Sara Quevedo score in the 74
th minute but the Aggies locked in defensively from there for a 2-1 win. It was New Mexico State's first conference win of the season.
