LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team took care of business Sunday afternoon at the NM State Tennis Center with a 7-0 sweep of UT Permian Basin.
 
Doubles play had a new look for New Mexico State with 
Quinty Janssen out of the line-up. 
Rebecca Keijzerwaard, who is Janssen's usual teammate, paired up with 
Helena Colvee on Sunday and blew past their counterparts at No. 3 doubles 6-1 before 
Vanessa Valdez and 
Eli Arnaudova clinched the doubles point 6-2 on court No. 2. 
Lindsay Harlas and 
Yadira Rubio was the one constant in the match for NM State in doubles action with the two winning 6-2 as well at the top doubles slot.
 
Harlas kept her moment going in singles play with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles. Valdez put the Aggies (2-3) on top 3-0 not too long after that with a 6-0, 6-2 win over UTPB's (0-2) Amelie Saint-Dizier on court No. 2.
 
Keijzerwaard clinched the match for NM State at the top singles position with a 6-1, 6-3 defeat of Fernanda Orona before Colvee picked up a 7-5, 6-4 win the fifth singles slot. 
Yadira Rubio easily won her first set and was challenged in the second set but ended up with the 6-2, 7-6 (7-1) win on court No. 3 before Arnaudova completed the sweep when she bested Eugenia Sanchez 6-2, 7-5 on court No. 6.
 
The Aggies hit the road this upcoming week as it heads to the state of Texas for a pair of matches. First up for NM State is Houston at 1 p.m. (MT) on Friday, Feb. 16, before finishing the trip off with an 11 a.m. meeting against Sam Houston State on Saturday, Feb. 17.
