LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team will have a busy weekend on its schedule with a pair of matches at home slated for this weekend, including a neutral match in #Aggiequerque sandwiched between the home matches.
Â
The Aggies – who are 4-5 on the year – kick off the weekend with a 9 a.m. (MT) meeting with Wyoming at the NM State Tennis Center this Friday, March 2. The Cowgirls enter the contest 2-4 on the year after dropping their last three matches – all away from home. Wyoming's two wins on the season have come against Central Oklahoma (4-2) – whom the Aggies defeated 5-2 last year in its season-opener – and Northern Colorado (6-1).
Â
Sandwiched in between its home slate is a neutral match against Pac-12 foe Colorado on Saturday, March 3, in #Aggiequerque at 2 p.m. The Buffs are 5-2 so far on the year, but have lost their last two matches against Kansas State (4-1) and Wichita State (7-0). However, CU opened the dual slate with five-straight victories – including wins over a trio of Mountain West Conference teams in Colorado State, Air Force and Boise State.
