LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team travels to Albuquerque, N.M. for the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate hosted by our neighbors to the north, Sept. 28-29, on the UNM Championship golf course. In-state rival New Mexico is set to welcome 17-teams for the weekend tournament.
Joining the Aggies and Lobos on the links are Air Force, Arkansas, BYU, Coastal Carolina, Colorado, Colorado State, Denver, Loyola Marymount, Nebraska, UT-Arlington, Pepperdine, San Diego State, UTEP, UNLV and Wyoming.
The starting lineup making the trip for NM State is
Tadhg Campbell,
Cameron Gambini,
Tristin Goodwin,
Michael McGilton and
Garrison Smith. Campbell and McGilton led the Aggies in the season opener finishing in second and third, respectively, at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational.
Tournament play consists of 54-holes over two days of competition. The event tees off with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. MT for the first two rounds on Friday, Sept. 28, followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start for the final round on Saturday, Sept. 29. Following the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, the New Mexico State men's golf team returns to the City of Crosses to host the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, Oct. 15-16, on the NMSU Golf Course.
