LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The NM State men's golf team hosts its only home tournament of the season this week.

10 teams, including the Aggies, will tee it up at NM State Golf Course on Monday, Oct. 14 and Tuesday, Oct. 15. The first and second rounds of the 54-hole tournament are set to begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday, and the final round gets underway at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Admission is open and free for all fans.

THE FIELD
NM State welcomes in Abilene Christian, Houston Baptist, Odessa College, UIW, UTEP, UTRGV, Western Illinois, Western New Mexico and Wichita State to this year's edition of the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate.

THE AGGIES
The Aggies are the event's reigning champion, capturing both the team and individual title last season.

NM State fired a 21-over-par 873 to take home the trophy. Now-graduated Mike McGilton was the tournament's top finisher, shooting a three-over-par 216 to win the individual title.
