Scouting the Roos
The Vaqueros currently hold a 9-6-2 overall record with a 3-3-1 conference mark. They are coming off back-to-back losses against Utah Valley and Seattle U. Last season in Las Cruces,
Alexa Barrera scored twice for the Aggies but NM State lost to UT Rio Grande Valley 3-2 in overtime.

UT Rio Grande Valley is led by sophomore forward Emily Zapata who has scored six goals with two assists for 14 points. Last season, she set the program's single-season scoring record with 11 goals.

King Szemik starts in net for UTRGV with 16 appearances on the season. The senior holds a 1.34 goals-against average and a .750 save percentage.

Last Time Out
The Aggies hosted Kansas City for Senior Day on Oct. 24. The Roos scored two goals early and NM State never recovered in a 2-0 loss.
