Rival New Mexico visits the Pan American Center for the Battle of I-25.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Battle of I-25 returns to the Pan American center for a 2 p.m. match up on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m.

Prince-ly Start to the Year
Aaliyah Prince has been outstanding so far through three games of the 2019-20 season. The redshirt junior started the year with a career-high 24 points against UC Riverside and followed it up with 20 points in a win at Denver. In the Aggies last game against UTEP she dropped 22 points. The San Antonio, Texas, native is averaging 22 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.
 
Prince also finds herself in the top-30 nationally in a few statistical categories. She ranks 15th in field goals made (26), 23rd in points (66) and 27th in points per game (22.0).
 
Back(Pack)ing Up the Record Book
Through two games of the 2019-20 season, Gia Pack is in 15th place on the NM State all-time scoring list with 1,312 points.

Scouting the Lobos
New Mexico enters Sunday match up with a 3-0 record and is coming off an 81-71 win over Houston in Albuquerque. Last season, NM State fell to UNM in both meetings between the two teams.
 
The Lobos boast a high-powered offense that averages 81.3 points per game with three players averaging double-figure scoring. New Mexico is led by sophomore's Jayla Everett and Ahlise Hurst at 16.3 points per game. Joining them in double figures is redshirt senior Najala Howell at 14.3 points per game.

The Aggies wrap up their three-game home stand with a game against Pepperdine on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. before heading to El Paso for the Battle of I-10 against UTEP on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m. As always, children 12 and under as well as students receive free entry to all Aggie home games.
