DENVER – Gia Pack was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week after nearly averaging a triple-double with 17 points, 11.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists in a pair of conference home wins, the league announced Monday.

This is Pack's first weekly honor of the season and second for her career. The junior from Phoenix, Ariz., also won the award for the week of Dec. 24, 2017.

Pack recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 18 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in a 68-61 home win over Kansas City on Feb. 28. She scored eight of her 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Aggies erased a 12-point deficit to clinch their fifth-straight WAC Championship. Then, she finished just one assist shy of a triple-double in a 77-54 win over Chicago State, recording 16 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists as NM State won its 13
th-straight game.Â

She currently averages 15.7 points and 6.9 rebounds, both second on the team. Pack leads the team in three-point percentage at 34.5 percent (min. 25 attempts).
