LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team returns to action with play at the Border Olympics, March 11-12, in Laredo, Texas at the Laredo Country. A tough field pits the Aggies against 16 competitors.
Joining NM State on the links is No. 20 Arkansas State, Bowling Green No. 45 Campbell, Houston, Houston Baptist, Lamar, Little Rock, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston State, Southern Miss, Stephen F. Austin, ULM, UMKC, UT Rio Grande Valley, UTSA and WKU.
The lineup traveling for the Aggies to the Border Olympics is
Tadhg Campbell,
Ryo Harada,
Mike McGilton,
Niall Powell and
Garrison Smith.
Cameron Gambini is also on the trip and is set to compete as an individual.
Tournament play is set for three rounds over two days, beginning with a shotgun start for the first 36 holes on Monday, March 11, followed by another shotgun start for the final round on Tuesday, March 12. Following the Border Olympics, the New Mexico State men's golf squad remains in the Lone Star State to compete in The Big Texan, March 25-26, in Kerrville, Texas.
