LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team heads to Pearland, Texas for the Bayou City Collegiate Classic, April 15-16, at the Golfcrest Country Club. The two-day, three-round tournament pits the Aggies against 14 other squads vying for the title.
Joining NM State on the links is Abilene Christian, Arkansas State, Denver, George Washington, Houston Baptist, Lamar, McNeese, Texas State, UT Arlington, UT San Antonio, Wichita State and the three co-hosts Houston, Rice and Sam Houston State.
Traveling for the Aggies starting lineup is

Ryo Harada,
Mike McGilton and
Garrison Smith. McGilton currently leads the team posting a 72.12 stroke average through 26 rounds this season.
Play at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic is set for two days with the first two rounds of action teeing off on Monday, April 15, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday, April 16. Due to a pair of cancelled tournaments this season, the New Mexico State men's golf team has been able to add one final event to close out the regular season when the team travels to Provo, Utah for the BYU Cougar Classic, April 19-20.
