Scott Rescigno fired a career-best one-over-par 73 in the second round of the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, highlighting the NM State men's golf team's performance on Friday at the UNM Championship Golf Course.

The Reno, Nev., native completed the opening day of the tournament as the Aggies' top finisher, tying for 47
th place with an overall score of five-over-par 149.

Senior
Tanvir Kahlon, meanwhile, tied for 63
rd with an eight-over-par 152, and freshman
Aidan Thomas tied for 76
th at 11-over-par, finishing his day with an even-par 72 in the second round. Sophomore
Cameron Gambini, who has one top-25 finish under his belt this season, sits tied for 80
th at 12-over-par 156 after two rounds of action.

Junior
Tyler Svendson, competing as an individual, is tied for 84
th at 13-over-par 157. Senior
Niall Powell rounds out the Aggie fivesome, shooting an 18-over-par 162 through the first 36 holes of play.

NM State, currently sitting in 16
th place at 31-over-par 607, will look to mount its comeback tomorrow. The final round of the 54-hole tournament tees off at 7:30 a.m.
