Sunday's match features one of our favorite promotions, Bark at the Park! Fans are encouraged to bring their canine companions to enjoy the afternoon with us at the Soccer Athletic Complex.

Balanced Attack
Through four games, four different Aggies have scored goals while six have registered points. Shea O'Connor scored in her Aggie debut against Abilene Christian, Alexa Barrera notched a late equalizer against Wyoming and Corey Kizer and Eliudth Gonzalez both scored in a win against Idaho State. Emma Smith and Xitlaly Hernandez have both recorded assists for NM State.

Scouting the Bobcats
Texas State entered the season as the preseason favorite to repeat as Sun Belt Champions with the Bobcats currently holding a 4-0 record. The Aggies and Bobcats have met four times, with Texas State holding a 3-1 edge. NM State won the last meeting between the two sides, 1-0, in double overtime on Sept. 2, 2016, in Las Cruces.

The Bobcats are led by preseason Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year Kaylee Davis. Last season, Davis scored 18 goals to lead the conference and finish third in the NCAA. The senior forward already has three goals and an assist on the season.

Defensively, Texas State is anchored by goalkeeper Heather Martin who is tabbed to repeat as Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year. Martin posted a stellar junior campaign in 2018, ranking second in the nation with her .919 save percentage. The senior also posted 91 saves and a 0.45 goals-against average in 2018.

Last Time Out
The Aggies traveled to Boise, Idaho, for a matchup with Boise State and a neutral site match against Idaho State. Against Boise, the Aggies shutdown the high-powered Broncos for 70 minutes. However, Boise State closed the match with four-straight goals and the Aggies fell 4-0.

Against the Bengals, New Mexico State came out aggressive as it registered 19 shots on the afternoon. The Aggies got on the board early in the second half when Corey Kizer headed in a cross from Xitlaly Hernandez in the 48th minute. Eliudth Gonzalez added to the Aggie lead in the 71st minute when she score her first goal in the Crimson and White. Dmitri Fong finished the match with nine saves as the Aggies took down Idaho State 2-1.
