 The Aggies have some serious speed.
Seniors
Keosha Sanders and
Lashira Tremble lit up the track Friday at the Albuquerque Convention Center, both delivering dominant performances in the 60m dash at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
Sanders came across the line with a time of 7.36, setting a new indoor personal best and resetting the Aggies' school record by .06 seconds. She remains atop the Western Athletic Conference's performance list in the event this year.
Tremble had no trouble keeping pace, as she hit new a new indoor personal record with a time of 7.40. The two Aggie competitors conclude the regular season ranked first and second, respectively, in the WAC's 60m dash performance list.Â
Senior
Telecia Briscoe, meanwhile, turned in a big-time effort in the 60m hurdles. Her new personal-best time of 8.69 not only ranks fifth in NM State program history, but is also the WAC's top performance in the event this season.
The Aggies' speed was also on full display in the 4x400m relay. Senior

Essence Brown teamed up to finish in 3:43.83, which ranks fourth in school history and is best in the WAC this season.
With the regular season in the books, NM State now turns its attention to the WAC Indoor Championships. The Aggies will compete for the conference title from Friday-Saturday, Feb. 28-29, in Nampa, Idaho.Â
